Pumpkin Bars

Bar Ingredients
1/2 Cup Butter soft (1stick)
1 Cup Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
2/3 Cup Canned Pumpkin
1 tsp Vanilla
1 Cup Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Ground Ginger
1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg
Bar Directions
- Cream butter; add eggs, brown sugar, pumpkin and vanilla. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, mix all dry ingredients together.
- Gradually add to the wet mixture and mix well.
- Pour into a greased 9x13" pan.
- Bake at 350 for 15 - 20 minutes.
- Let cool and top with brown butter icing.
Icing Ingredients
1/2 Cup Butter (1stick)
3 Cups Powered Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
2 Tablespoons Milk
Icing Directions
- Heat butter in saucepan over Medium heat till brown.
- Remove from heat.
- Add powered sugar, vanilla & milk.
- Whisk until smooth & blend well.
